Biography Clarissa Lins
Trustee at the Brazilian Center of International Relations (CEBRI). Clarissa Lins is the Founder of Catavento Consultoria, created in August 2013. From November 2019 to March 2021, Lins was President of the Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute (IBP), where she was also Executive Director between 2016 and 2019. She is a member of Suzano's Sustainability Committee since August 2019 and the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on the Future of Energy since September 2018. She was a member of Petrobras's Board of Directors between May 2018 and December 2019, an independent member of the Sustainability Committee of Vale's Board of Directors between May 2017 and December 2019 and Executive Director of the Brazilian Foundation for Sustainable Development between 2004 and 2013. She worked in the public sector for several years, at the Ministry of Finance (1993-94), at Brazil's National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) as special advisor to the Presidency (1995-99) and at Petrobras, as special advisor to the Presidency and Executive Manager of Corporate Strategy (1999-2002). Lins obtained both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
