Brazil's leading international relations think tank

WHY CEBRI

The Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) is an independent, nonprofit think tank that, since 1998, has dedicated itself to promoting policy-oriented discussions on agendas of national interest and Brazil's international engagement competitively and strategically. Based in Rio de Janeiro, CEBRI is recognized nationally and internationally as a platform to analyze, develop, and coordinate pragmatic and innovative solutions. Founded by renowned national leaders, the Board of Trustees is a fundamental part of CEBRI's nonpartisan, diverse, and pluralistic network, composed of experts in various fields of activities and schools of thought. More than 100 members believe in and promote our mission to influence policy-oriented and high-level discussions on Brazil's international relations. Besides individual members and diplomatic representatives from various countries, CEBRI's Advisory Board includes companies from the economy's leading sectors.

Veronica Coelho

SVP & Country Manager Equinor Brasil (empresa associada desde 2018)

At CEBRI, we engage in conversations that help us outline future scenarios, integrating the views of private companies and public bodies to support planning for public policies in different areas. The information provided by CEBRI and the knowledge of their specialists complement the analysis carried out by our teams.”

Alessandra Del Debbio

Legal and Corporate Vice President at Microsoft Brazil (corporate member since 2022)

For Microsoft, CEBRI does a critical job in discussing Brazil’s challenges in a hyper-connected world. The discussions on sustainability and cybersecurity convened by CEBRI contribute significantly to our common learning journey.”

Julia Dias Leite

CEBRI CEO

In 2022, about 75% of CEBRI’s projects were developed with the support of member companies. This demonstrates how our partners seek to engage and trust our work as the country’s leading international relations think tank.”

José Pio Borges

Chairman of CEBRI’s Board of Trustees

CEBRI promotes dialogue between various sectors of society and has produced, for 25 years, high-quality content on foreign policy and Brazil’s international engagement.”

André Clark

Senior Vice President for Siemens Energy Latin America and Brazil (corporate member since 2017)
