Mobilidade Elétrica: Um novo cenário para o Brasil

CEBRI, in partnership with Catavento Consultoria and PROMOB-e, the Ministry of Economy's technical cooperation program with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), is pleased to share the "Electric Mobility Report: A New Scenario for Brazil". The publication is the result of the event "Electric Mobility: A New Scenario for Brazil", held by CEBRI's Infrastructure and Energy Program, on July 18th, 2019. The report covers the perspectives of academics, public policymakers and automotive industry executives to discuss the future of the national transport sector.

The report analyzes the prospects for electric mobility, taking into account the context of the energy transition, changes in consumption habits and new technologies. It also considers the national particularities that tend to influence the pace of technology penetration in the country. Finally, it identifies the relevance of the domestic market and the participation of renewables in the electric matrix as aspects that signal a scenario of multiple propulsion technologies in Brazil.
