The theme of energy transition is central to current discussions on climate transition. The dimensions of the transformations that are necessary require attention to their social impacts.

In this context, CEBRI, in partnership with the German development agency GIZ (Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), developed the report "Just Energy Transition for Industries in Brazil: Technology and Sustainable Criteria for the Steel Industry." The publication, prepared for the Ministry of Mines and Energy, addresses the potential of hydrogen as an energy alternative for the steel industry in the green transition.
