The 21st edition of the Forte International Security Conference, “No Way Out? Navigating Global Insecurity,” offers a favorable space to discuss today’s main international security issues. In recent years, the international order has been quickly changing based on new circumstances, bringing new challenges, vulnerabilities, and risks to international security. This year, when Brazil holds the presidency of the G20, the discussion on global security must include the difficulties arising from a multilateral system undergoing a full transformation.

Given the redistribution of power currently taking place in the international system, it is essential to discuss how and to what extent these fluctuations will affect issues already existing on the international security board. In this context, the 21st Forte Conference aims to debate the world’s main security issues in synergy with the great difficulties and expectations that surround the heads of state who are members of the G20 in 2024.
