The rapid adoption of digital technologies has led to increased cyber threats, with cybercriminals and nation-states taking advantage of the expanded attack surface. Cybersecurity remains a key challenge for society, companies, and governments. Basic cyber hygiene practices, such as using multifactor authentication and keeping software up-to-date, can prevent most attacks, but awareness-raising is still necessary.

To address this issue, CEBRI and Microsoft are partnering to organize a workshop series exploring the risks posed by cyberattacks against critical service sectors, culminating in the development of a multistakeholder compendium on best recommendations to avoid and mitigate the effects of these cyberattacks. The first workshop will focus on the main cyber threats, and how cyber hygiene practices could be the solution.
