Biography Renato Galvão Flôres Junior
Trustee at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). Professor Flôres is Director of the International Intelligence Unit of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), in Rio de Janeiro, where he is also Special Advisor to the President and Professor of the Graduate School of Economics.
He is Chair of the Brazilian chapter of the European Community Studies Association. He has served as a Brazilian expert at the WTO and as a consultant to numerous institutions, including the IDB, the OECD, and the UNDP. Professor Flôres received a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering (IME), an MBA in Financial Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, a master's degree in Statistical Mathematics from the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA) and a PhD in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
