Biography Dawisson Belém Lopes
Senior Fellow at the Brazilian Center of International Relations (CEBRI). Deputy Director of International Relations at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He was a Visiting Researcher at the German Institute of Global and Area Studies, Visiting Professor at the Université Catholique de Louvain and Raisina Young Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation. Alongside receiving a National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) Research Productivity Scholarship, he has published four books and more than 200 book chapters, articles in indexed scientific journals, articles in press vehicles and papers in conference proceedings. In total, his academic texts have been presented and/or broadcast in 28 countries. He has given lectures on international affairs at the invitation of the governments of Canada, the United States, India, Portugal, Uruguay and Brazil. In 2018, he received the Olavo Brasil de Lima Jr. award for the second best article in Political Science published in the 2016-2018 biennium from the Brazilian Political Science Association (ABCP).
