New Frontiers and Sovereignty on the Brink of Global Challenges

Ten renowned experts analyze the changes in the concepts of Sovereignty and Frontiers, deepen the debate on information flows and on the risks of cyberattacks and discuss the challenge of digital frontiers. Jackson Schneider points out that “Today, fiction has been overcome by reality with the increasing use of cyber technology and artificial intelligence in order to attack, threaten, influence, access information from countries, companies and people.” The publication is the result of the Forte de Copacabana International Security Conference, the largest international security forum in Latin America, which is organized in partnership by the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), with the support from the European Union delegation to Brazil.
