Propositions for a just energy transition in Brazil

The current energy transition is driven by the challenges of climate change and requires profound transformations within the energy value chain. This transition will evolve more intensely and rapidly than the previous ones. In addition, technological and economic transformations must provide an inclusive and accessible dynamic. The energy transition brings an immense opportunity and challenge for future presidential mandates, requiring long-term vision and strategy, capable of integrating the energy and environmental sectors in order to boost the vast national energy potential for a low-carbon economy, to ensure that Brazil belong to the future of energy and become a key player worldwide, measuring up to its resources and potential.
