At its third meeting, CEBRI’s China Analysis Group organized a wide-ranging debate on the results of the 19th Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The debate encompassed topics such as the continuity of China's domestic economic reform agenda and the political implications of Xi Jinping’s "socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era". Furthermore, discussions highlighted the increasing assertiveness of Chinese foreign policy and its consequences for global institutions and regions such as Latin America.
