CEBRI, FUNAG and IPEA deliver T20 Brasil Communiqué to President Lula a week before the G20 Leaders' Summit

On November 11, during a meeting with the Leaders of the G20 Engagement Groups in Brasilia, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, officially received the document designed by the T20 Brasil Organizing Committee. On the occasion, the Committee presented the recommendations developed over the first half of the year, as well as the strategies for implementing the study. The publication was hand delivered by the Director of Projects at CEBRI, Luciana Gama Muniz, the General Coordinator of Research at the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation, Annita Calmon, and the Planning and Research Technician at the Institute of Applied Economic Research, Cláudio Amitrano. Simultaneously, the T20 Community and Representatives of G20 Brasil will be meeting at the Itamaraty Palace, in Rio de Janeiro, for the T20 Brasil Summit, on November 11 and 12. 

In the course of the collaborative policy-making process, Communiqué has been guided by the principles of inclusiveness, representativeness and effectiveness. The proposals and strategies presented, alongside the contributions from other engagement groups, offer think tanks, representatives of civil society and academia a unique opportunity to contribute to the G20 decision-making process and influence the construction of new paths of international cooperation to tackle global challenges.
