Energy Poverty: Negative Effects on Tariff Subsidies

The event addresses a complex and pressing issue: energy poverty in developing countries, with experts from the three countries that compose the current G20 Troika (India, Brazil and South Africa). The initiative, organized by CEBRI in partnership with Light, is a T20 Brasil side event, marking the publication of a paper on the theme "Energy poverty in emerging countries: negative effects of tariff subsidies", to contribute to the debate by fostering innovative solutions to the energy challenges faced by developing countries through the discussion and dissemination of content to a wide audience including political leaders, corporations, academics and representatives of civil society.
