Ambassador and Prince Zeid Raad Al Hussein has extensive experience in multilateral negotiations, having served as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and Jordan's Ambassador to the UN and Washington. The objective of this meeting, in addition to getting to know the IPI's initiatives, is also to create a space for discussing paths and recommendations for the Reform of the UN Charter and to make the multilateral system more democratic, given the challenges identified in the document "Our Common Agenda", by Secretary-General António Guterres, and the difficulties that the UN system faces today in dealing with peace and security issues.
