The occasion is an incentive to celebrate important milestones in Luso-Brazilian cultural life, such as writer José Saramago's birth centennial and his fundamental contribution to spreading the Portuguese language and the first aerial crossing of the South Atlantic from Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro.
