Reconstruction in Global and Regional Supply Chains: A Cyclical or Structural Phenomenon?

November 24th, 2021

An initiative of CEBRI's Multilateralism Program, the webinar aims to present and discuss disruptions in global value chains and logistical problems that have affected and continue to affect world trade since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Some analysts believe that this is a temporary problem, but that it can make it difficult to resume economic growth with varying results in each country.

Others point out that these interruptions strengthen the argument that it is necessary to reduce the intensity of the fragmentation of production at a global level. The event will analyze and debate topics such as geopolitics, reorganization, and the "deglobalization" of production chains.
