Biography André Nassif
André Nassif is Associate Professor at the Economics Department and at the Postgraduate Program in Economics (PPGE) of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). His academic research focuses on Economic Development, Macroeconomics, and International Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Institute of Economics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, 2003), a Master's degree in Economics from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF, 1995) and a specialization degree in Public Policy from the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ILPES-ECLAC) (Santiago, Chile, 1991). Nassif was an economist at the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) - from which he retired in December 2016. He is a consultant at national and foreign institutions, with articles published in Brazilian and foreign books and academic journals.
