The following report is the result of the event "45 Years Brazil-China Diplomatic Relations: From Trade to a Global Partnership" conducted by CEBRI, in partnership with the Chinese Embassy in Brazil. The event celebrated the diplomatic relations between the two countries and brought together more than 200 people, including public authorities, representatives of the key think tanks, businessmen, academics, consultants and the relevant press from each country.
The publication's content is based on the bilateral relationship between the two countries and presents the fundamental aspects of this interaction. The history of the relationship, the Chinese perspective, the Brazilian panorama and the BRICS context are some of the topics covered.
