Brazil and China: Elements for Environmental Cooperation

This policy paper analyzes the main elements for environmental cooperation between Brazil and China, exploring ways to strengthen the dialogue and cooperation to benefit not only these two countries, but also other developing countries.

Izabella Teixeira points out that "the most recent debates on international trade have been giving increasing importance to the demands of consumer markets with regard to environmental impacts, nature conservation and the sustainability of productive commodity chains, as well as the transparency of result-oriented public policies".
