In light of the decision by the United States government to impose a 50% tariff on Brazilian exports, the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), a think tank dedicated to the study of international relations and consisting of renowned experts in the Brazilian landscape, expresses its concern through a public note.
This measure represents a setback in the framework of bilateral relations between Brazil and the United States, as well as contradicting the history of friendship built over more than two centuries of solid and mutually beneficial diplomatic relations.
In the note, CEBRI reaffirms its commitment to dialogue, international cooperation, and the defense of a global order based on mutual respect among nations.
