CEBRI was present at the event "China-Rio: Bridges for Innovation," held on July 8, 2025, at the RDC auditorium of PUC-Rio. Organized by PUC-Rio, the initiative brought together diplomatic authorities, academic experts, representatives from the private sector, and members of civil society for a full day of panels dedicated to Brazil-China cooperation in the fields of geopolitics, technological innovation, and energy transition.
Throughout the day, discussions reinforced the city of Rio de Janeiro's role as a global hub for innovation, sustainability, and culture, highlighting concrete partnership opportunities with China. The panel titled "Geopolitical Scenario and Brazil-China Strategic Cooperation" featured Ambassadors Luiz Augusto de Castro Neves, Vice-Chairman Emeritus at CEBRI and President of the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC), and Marcos Caramuru, Member of CEBRI’s International Advisory Board.
CEBRI's presence at the event reaffirms its commitment to strengthening international dialogue and deepening relations between Brazil and China, as well as building bridges between government, think tanks, and the private sector.
