CEBRI participated in the event "Brazil Meets India," held on July 4, 2025, at the Fecomércio RJ auditorium. The meeting brought together government authorities, business leaders, and institutional representatives from both countries in a joint effort to strengthen bilateral ties and promote cooperation opportunities within the BRICS framework.
Organized by the India Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCIB), in partnership with the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the Federation of Indian Industries (FICCI), the event was part of a broader agenda for commercial rapprochement between the two countries. The program included panels on economic opportunities, attracting investments, and success stories in the bilateral relationship, as well as networking sessions with more than 60 representatives from the Indian business delegation.
Throughout the morning, the discussions highlighted the strategic potential of the India-Brazil partnership, especially in light of the reconfiguration of BRICS and the challenges of the current geopolitical landscape. Concrete investment opportunities in the state of Rio de Janeiro were discussed, along with successful business experiences in sectors such as energy, technology, and infrastructure.
The presence of CEBRI at the event reinforces its commitment to promoting international dialogue and deepening South-South relations, as well as ties with the Asian continent. This participation also aligns with the institution's ongoing efforts to monitor the developments of Brazil's actions in multilateral forums and to contribute to the strategic debate on the country's international integration.
