For the first time, CEBRI will be present at the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF), organizing accelerator sessions with an agenda focused on discussions about strategic minerals, fair energy transition and investments in circular economy projects.

What is the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF)?

The WCEF is a global event that brings together business leaders, policymakers, academics and representatives of non-governmental organizations every year in different cities to debate practices, innovations and policies related to the circular economy. Since its foundation, the forum has established itself as an essential platform for the exchange of ideas and sustainable solutions, promoting circularity in various sectors of the global economy.

This year, for the first time in South America, the forum will be held in São Paulo from May 13 to 16 at Ibirapuera Park, bringing together experts from different parts of the world to boost the implementation of circular solutions. The program will cover crucial topics such as business, governance, finance, innovation, people and jobs.

On May 13 and 14, the forum will feature 4 plenary sessions and 12 parallel sessions. The plenaries will address cross-cutting thematic issues, while the parallel sessions will delve into debates on specific segments of the circular economy, presenting practical and scalable examples that can be replicated globally.

On May 15 and 16, the event will focus on accelerator sessions organized by WCEF partners, including CEBRI. With the aim of connecting the forum's themes with the daily activities needed for the circular transition, the sessions aim to promote greater interaction with the public and a deeper look at topics that are essential for building a more circular and resilient economy.
