CEBRI launches a series of talks: “Development Banks in the Green Transition”

The debate on climate change has generated increasing concern about the impact of industrial and economic activities on the environment, resulting in the adoption of green or sustainable supply chain management (GSCM or SSCM), which aims to integrate environmentally responsible practices into traditional supply chains. The relations between Brazil and Belgium present a significant opportunity for mutual exchange of experiences across various sectors that adhere to sustainable practices, whether in health, industry, port operations, or urban management.

In order to explore themes of cooperation in the context of the Belgian Economic Mission to Brazil, which took place from November 22 to December 1, CEBRI, in partnership with the Consulate of Belgium in Rio de Janeiro, is launching the conversation series “Brazil and Belgium: Cooperating for a Greener and Better Future.” Throughout two episodes, Leila Sterenberg, Senior Fellow at CEBRI, hosts national and international guests to deepen the discussion on two main areas of cooperation between the nations: health and technology, addressing inequalities in access to medicines and vaccines in developing countries, as well as urban planning and sustainable building practices.
