CEBRI holds a roundtable discussion to address bilateral relations and global challenges between the United Arab Emirates and Brasil

On November 6, CEBRI, in partnership with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, held the roundtable discussion titled "United Arab Emirates and Brazil: Bilateral Relations and Global Challenges for Regional Powers." The event took place to mark the arrival in Brazil of the Assistant Minister for Political Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Lana Nusseibeh, facilitating a discussion among the minister, government representatives, academics, and other guests. The dialogue focused on the bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Brazil and the potential for growth in these relations.

Representing CEBRI, Lea Reichert, Projects Deputy Director at CEBRI, provided the institutional opening for the roundtable, alongside the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Brazil, H.E. Saleh Ahmad Salem Alzaraim Alsuwaidi, and George Okechukwu Maha, Institutional and Government Relations Analyst at Apex Brasil.

The event was moderated by Rafaela Guedes, Senior Fellow at CEBRI, and included participation from H.E. Lana Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister for Political Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Adriana Erthal Abdenur, Special Advisor on International Relations to the Presidency of the Republic, Laís Garcia, Head of the Renewable Energy Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, and Vânia Isabel Carvalho Pinto, Professor at the University of Brasília (UnB).
