CEBRI Attends the 2024 World Climate Summit at COP29

At the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) held in Baku, CEBRI participated in strategic discussions addressing crucial topics such as critical minerals, just energy transition, climate financing mechanisms, and sustainable practices.

On November 17, celebrating the milestone of 15 years of presence at COPs and aiming to significantly enhance the results of cooperation between the public and private sectors, the 15th edition of the World Climate Summit took place, organized by the World Climate Foundation. CEBRI's Deputy Director of Partnerships and International Cooperation, Teresa Rossi, attended the closing plenary session of the Conference titled "From Baku to Belém: Turning Climate Commitments into Action for a Net-Zero and Nature-Positive Future." The panel also included the Secretary of Culture of the State of Pará, Ursula Vidal, and Ana Cabral, Co-CEO of Sigma Lithium.

The event, which led a series of panels alongside the UNFCCC climate negotiations, was grounded in the principles of the Paris Agreement and the Marrakech Partnership to discuss these themes.
