At a time of great debate on the environment, the Amazon and the urgency of climate change, CEBRI held a meeting with the President of Eletrobras, Ivan Monteiro.

The event aimed to promote dialogue between experts and leaders from the public and private sectors on the electricity sector, the role of hydroelectric plants and renewables in the Brazilian matrix and the climate debate in the country, given Brazil's participation in the rotating presidency of the G20 and as host of COP30 in 2025.

Alongside CEBRI's CEO Julia Dias Leite and Luiz Ildefonso Simões Lopes, Vice- Chairman of CEBRI's Board of Trustees and Vice-Chairman of Brookfield, the event was also attended by Clarissa Lins, Trustee at CEBRI and Founding Partner at Catavento Consultoria, and Rafaela Guedes, Senior Fellow at CEBRI. The event was also attended by Board Members, Senior Fellows, representatives of member companies and partners.
