CEBRI promoted this Thursday (25), in partnership with FIESP, BNDES and CIESP, the event "Strong Industry, Strong Country", aiming to celebrate Industry Day and debate important topics for the productive sector.
The seminar promoted debates about the new industrial policy, tax reform and economic growth, new challenges of geopolitics and reshoring, and industrial financing. Authorities such as President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Vice-President and Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services Geraldo Alckmin and Minister of Finance Fernando Haddad were present.
The institutional opening was attended by BNDES president Aloizio Mercadante, FIESP president Josué Gomes da Silva, CIESP president Rafael Cervone, and CEBRI's CEO Julia Dias Leite.
The debate tables hosted national and international authorities and academics, such as Gabriel Galípolo, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Finance, Mariana Mazzucato, from University College London, Mario Cimoli, from Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Robert Wade, from the London School of Economics and Political Science, Bernard Appy, Extraordinary Secretary for Tax Reform at the Ministry of Finance, and André Clark, CEBRI Trustee and Vice-President of Conic at FIESP.
