The webinar "Tensions Between Russia, NATO and Ukraine and the Geopolitical Chessboard of Eastern Europe" was opened by the President of CEBRI's Board of Trustees, José Pio Borges. Panelists included the Director of Research at ISAPE and Associate Researcher at the InterAgency Institute, Larlecianne Piccolli; Member of CEBRI's International Advisory Board and Researcher at Harvard University, Hussein Kalout; Senior Fellow at CEBRI, Journalist at CNN Brazil and Columnist at Estadão; Lourival Sant'Anna; Senior Fellow at CEBRI and Professor at Escola Superior de Guerra, Ronaldo Carmona.

Almost 500 people registered to watch the debate via Zoom. It was organized with the support of the Defense and International Security Program, one of the 14 Thematic Programs at CEBRI.

The conversation analyzed the crisis at the Ukraine-Russia border, including an in-depth contextualization of the current scenario, the expectations of a possible war, its potential consequences, and the scope of diplomatic efforts under debate today.
