On Wednesday, the 24th of November, CEBRI welcomed the Ambassador of Norway Odd Magne and other diplomatic representatives of the country at its headquarters, in Gávea.
Brazil and Norway have had diplomatic relations since 1905, when Brazil was one of the first countries to recognize Norway's independence after the dissolution of the Norway-Sweden union. Currently, the relationship between the two countries is focused on environmental cooperation and the development of a green economy.
In addition to the Norwegian Ambassador to Brazil, the meeting was attended by Marianne Fosland, Consul General of Norway to Brazil, Tonje Flatmark Sødal, First Secretary of the Norwegian Embassy to Brazil, Gabriel Francisco, Economic and Political Adviser of Norway to Brazil, Julia Dias Leite, the CEO of CEBRI; Jorge Camargo, Vice-President of CEBRI's Board of Trustees; Luciana Gama Muniz, Director of Projects at CEBRI; Ambassador Marcos Azambuja, CEBRI Trustee Emeritus; Marianna Albuquerque, Project Manager at CEBRI.
