COP30 | Human Being Tomorrow

November 16, 2025

We live in a time of "confusing signs, prone to change rapidly and unpredictably," as Bauman described it. What does it mean to be human in this time? What will it mean to be human tomorrow? Planetarism, neo-humanism, eco-humanism, post-humanism, transhumanism—among other trends pointed out—are symptoms of the uncertainty in which we are immersed. How do multilateralism, academia, technology, education, and culture (art, museums) react to or impose these trends?

Partnership: Museum of Tomorrow and Inhotim Institute

SPEAKERS

  • Izabella Teixeira, Member of the International Advisory Board at CEBRI and Former Minister of Environment (2010-2016)
  • Alita Mariah, Director of Nature, Operations, and Infrastructure at the Inhotim Institute
