CEBRI promotes, as part of the T20 Brazil Organizing Committee and in partnership with B20, CNI, Rio de Janeiro State Government, Rio City Hall and Ministry of Development, Industry and Commerce, the side-event "Bridging Business and Academia : Pathways for Trade and Sustainable Development", at BNDES, in Rio de Janeiro, to discuss the potential of trade to foster sustainable development, raising different perspectives to enhance the promotion of environmental, social and governance practices.

This is a side event to the TIWG, which will be conducted in English, without simultaneous translation, and will feature representatives from the federal, state governments, Rio city hall, the business sector, academia and the third sector, discussing the multiple perspectives on trade and sustainable development for G20 Delegates in order to increase awareness and adoption of strategies and best practices.
