Public Policies for the Insertion of the Brazilian Agro in the World

Agribusiness is the most internationalized sector of the Brazilian economy, but it faces major challenges in areas such as competitiveness, governance, market access, and the environment. These challenges stem from domestic factors but are also connected to their insertion in a global context of uncertainties. These, in turn, are related to the post-pandemic recovery, the credibility of multilateralism, and the directions of world geopolitics as a result of the ongoing armed conflict, in addition to the increasingly concrete threat of climate change.

In the second event of the Global Agro Debate Cycle 2022, policy recommendations will be presented and debated for the competitive and sustainable insertion of the Brazilian agro in the world, based on the document prepared by Insper Agro Global and which is an integral part of the set of suggestions "Foreign Policy of Tomorrow" produced by CEBRI (Brazilian Center for International Relations) to be delivered to the candidates for the presidency of the republic.
