CEBRI was one of the supporters of the "Azeredo da Silveira's Centenary: Ecumenical and Responsible Pragmatism" seminar held by the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG) on September 22 at the Itamaraty Palace, in Rio de Janeiro. The event was a tribute to the centenary of the birth of Antonio Francisco Azeredo da Silveira (1974 – 1979), a former Minister of Foreign Affairs, and was attended by journalists, ambassadors and academics.

CEBRI Trustee Emeritus, Ambassador Marcos Azambuja, opened the event with the lecture “Azeredo da Silveira and the Itamaraty”. The full event schedule can be accessed here.
