On July 17, CEBRI, in partnership with CINDES, CNI and the OCP Policy Center, promoted the seminar "Assessing and Redefining Policies towards Africa in a New Global Scenario: Intersecting Perspectives between Brazil and Morocco" which discussed the trajectory of African development, the remaining economic challenges, the Brazilian strategy for Africa, the Brazil-Morocco relationship, the complementary productive sectors between the two countries and the future prospects for integration. The view that Morocco potentially represents a doorway for Brazil to Africa, particularly to Sub-Saharan Africa, and that Brazil can also be a gateway for Morocco to South America, emerged during the event.
