On June 14, CEBRI brought together Defense and Security authorities and guests for the second Preparatory Meeting of the XIV International Security Conference Forte de Copacabana. During the meeting, which serves as preparation for the largest international security conference in Latin America, guests debated the current level of “cyber threats” for Brazil and the evolution of international cooperation for the prevention of cyberwars.
Nelson Nunes da Rosa, Rear Admiral, Chief of the Joint General Staff of the Cyber Defense Command of the Ministry of Defense; Arthur Pereira Sabbat, Colonel, Director of the Information Security and Communications Department (DSIC) and of the Interministerial Working Group on National Information Security Policy of the Institutional Security Office of the Presidency of the Republic (GSI), CEBRI representatives, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Brazil and other experts participated in the second preparatory meeting.
