Seminário Desafios da Política Externa Brasileira - Porto Alegre

On May 16, CEBRI, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) and the Postgraduate Program in International Strategic Studies at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (PPGEEI/UFRGS) promoted the seminar "Challenges of Brazilian Foreign Policy". The event was held at the auditorium of the School of Economic Sciences at UFRGS, in Porto Alegre, and aimed to discuss topics from the book "10 Challenges of Brazilian Foreign Policy", recently published by CEBRI, in partnership with the Konrand Adenauer Foundation.

The meeting had two thematic sessions, discussing foreign trade issues and challenges in the area of security and defense. The authors of the book, Diego Bonomo and Érico Esteves Duarte, began with expositions, followed by interventions by the guest debaters. The seminar was attended by Adriana Erthal Abdenur - Research Fellow of the Igarapé Institute; André Reis - Coordinator of PPGEEI/UFRGS; Fernando Ferrari, Professor at UFRGS; Luciano D'Andrea, International Relations Manager at FIERGS; Colonel Mario Andreuzza, Strategic Studies Nucleus of the Southern Military Command. The event also had the distinguished presence of Ambassador Flávio Roberto Bonzanini, Head of the Representation Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, and the panels were moderated by Fabiano Mielniczuk, Director of Audiplo.
