CEBRI received economist Gustavo Franco at the lunch of the Board of Trustees, last Thursday (17th) in Rio de Janeiro. Gustavo Franco is a former president of the Central Bank and one of the formulators of the Real Plan, at the time he defended a more open economy with less State participation, he designed the profile of the Brazilian entrepreneur who emerged during the crisis and his search for space in the market without bureaucratic barriers of the state. In addition, he defended the privatization of public banks - Banco do Brasil and Caixa Econômica Federal - and Petrobras in the future.
