On May 10, CEBRI held the first event in partnership with the Center for Strategic and Political Studies of the Navy (CEPE-MB) and the Naval War College (EGN), bringing together academics, military personnel and students to discuss Russia in the colloquium "Russian Global Foreign Policy Trends". The guest speaker was expert Dmitri Trenin, former colonel of the Russian Army and current Moscow director of the Carnegie Center. On the occasion, Trenin highlighted the importance of the Brazilian interest in getting to know Russia beyond the conventional. Renato Galvão Flôres Jr. (CEBRI) and Admiral Magno (EGN) also participated in the event.
