On November 27th, CEBRI's China Analysis Group held its 15th meeting to discuss global environmental challenges common to China and Brazil, identifying opportunities for bilateral cooperation in areas such as renewable energy and carbon markets.
The meeting was coordinated by CEBRI's Senior Fellow, Tatiana Rosito, and was attended by Senior Fellow, Izabella Teixeira; CEBRI Trustee, Anna Jaguaribe; the Head of the Environment Division II of Brazil's Foreign Ministry, Marco Tulio Cabral; Tokyo University Professor, Akio Takahara; China Program Manager of the Climate Bonds Initiative, Wenhong Chie; the representative of the Climate Bond Initiative, Cedric Rimuad; CAS representative Wang Yi; and the Executive Director of the Instituto Clima e Sociedade (iCS), Ana Toni. The event took place with connections in Sao Paulo, Brasilia and Beijing.
