The current business potential in Brazil-China relations was the focal point of the debates of the seminar “Brazil-China Partnership: Trends and Opportunities”, held on November 7th, at the Museu do Amanhã, in Rio de Janeiro. The event brought together experts, diplomats, businessmen and academics to discuss topics such as the process of urbanization, consumption and demographic transition in China, the challenges and trends in trade and investment in Brazil-China economic cooperation and the possibilities of convergence between countries in the ecosystems of innovation, connectivity and digitization.
In addition to the various invited experts, the seminar was attended by the member of the CEBRI Board of Trustees, Anna Jaguaribe; CEBRI Senior Fellow, Fernanda Guardado; the International Advisory Adviser to CEBRI, Chen Taotao; CEBRI Senior Fellow, Larissa Wachholz; and the Vice-President Emeritus of CEBRI, Ambassador Luiz Augusto de Castro Neves.
The event was organized by CEBRI, in partnership with the Academic Center for Chinese Economic Practice and Thinking (ACCEPT), the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC) and Banco BOCOM BBM, and was sponsored by Vale.
