Biography Ernesto Mané

Senior Researcher at the Brazilian Center of International Relations (CEBRI). He has a Ph.D. in nuclear physics from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. He has worked as a researcher at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, at the Canadian National Particle Physics Laboratory (TRIUMF), and at the Science and Global Security Program at Princeton University, United States. He is the author of academic papers situated at the interface between pure and applied science and international politics. He was the Brazilian representative of the 2018 Class of the United Nations Disarmament Fellows Program. A career diplomat since 2014, he currently works at the Brazilian Embassy in Washington, where he follows up on issues of defense, security, disarmament, and non-proliferation.
