Biography André Corrêa do Lago

International Advisor to the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). Diplomat since 1983. He has been Ambassador to India for a year and a half. In the field of architecture, he is an author, curator, and jury member.

He has been a member of the Pritzker Award jury for three years. He is also a member of the jury for the IMS competition in São Paulo and the jury for the new headquarters of IMPA (mathematics) in Rio. He has worked in several areas at the Ministry of Foreign Relations, mainly in the environmental area.

He was Brazil's chief negotiator for Climate Change and Sustainable Development, including at Rio+20. He worked in Madrid, Prague, Washington, Buenos Aires, Brussels. He was Ambassador to Japan for five years.

He is co-curator and co-author with Lauro Cavalcanti of Still Modern? He has a degree in Economics from UFRJ.
