Biography Patrícia Perrone Campos Mello
Senior Researcher at the Brazilian Center of International Relations (CEBRI). Patrícia Perrone Campos Mello is a Professor of Public Law at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral Programs at the Brasilia University Center (CEUB). She obtained her PhD and Master’s degree from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and undertook post-doctoral studies at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany.
She is a Fellow of the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, USA. Perrone Campos Mello is Attorney of the State of Rio de Janeiro and Assistant to the Supreme Court Minister. She is Associate Professor of the Master's Program at the University of São Paulo (USP). Perrone Campos Mello is a Professor and researcher in the areas of theories of democracy, constitutional law, human rights, judicial behavior and theory of precedents (with emphasis on the higher courts).
