Vice-President of the Board of Trustees at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). Luiz Lopes is Vice Chairman of Brookfield, where he has been for 25 years, having been CEO of the company in Brazil from 2007 to 2017.  Luiz is a member of the Board of the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), the Dom Cabral Foundation, the Brazil-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Governance Nucleus of the Program “Juntos pelo Desenvolvimento Sustentável” (Together for Sustainable Development) of the Comunitas think tank.
