Final Report | Support for the Preparation of the National Rare Earth Strategy

The Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) releases the final report of the study conducted in support of the National Rare Earth Strategy (ENTR), prepared to assist the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME). The study was carried out by a consortium led by CEBRI, in partnership with the consultancy Vallya and a team of subject-matter experts, with the support of BMA Advogados, under the project “Mining for the Energy Transition,” funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) with resources from the European Union.
The report presents a comprehensive assessment and a set of recommendations to support federal government decision-making on rare earth elements and to strengthen Brazil’s position in higher value-added global supply chains.
