Available now the Think20 Brasil Communiqué for G20 leaders in 2024!

The T20 Brasil Communiqué offers concrete and actionable policy recommendations for the Brazilian G20 Presidency, reflected in T20 Brasil’s six Task Forces (TFs).

The recommendations are based on more than 300 Policy Briefs, six Task Force Statements, as well as dozens of side-events organized in the past few months and the T20 Brasil Inception Conference, held in March.

The proposals presented by T20 Brasil, alongside the recommendations of other Engagement Groups, will give think tanks and representatives of civil society the opportunity to inform the G20 decision-making process and influence the development of new paths for international cooperation to tackle global challenges.

The T20 Brasil Organizing Committee, composed by CEBRI, FUNAG and IPEA, is guided by the principles of inclusion, representativeness, and effectiveness throughout the collaborative process that have formulated the recommendations presented in the Communiqué.

The Communiqué will be delivered to the G20 Brasil Sherpa and Finance Track leaders at the end of the T20 Brasil Midterm Conference, which takes place on July 2nd and 3rd, in Rio de Janeiro. This is the first time the document will be delivered in advance, in order to influence the negotiations and the drafting of the joint declaration during the G20 Leaders' Summit on November 18 and 19, 2024.

The T20 Brasil Midterm Conference is organized by CEBRI, FUNAG, IPEA, Rio de Janeiro City Hall and BNDES, and sponsored by CAF, Equinor, Veirano Advogados, AWS, Microsoft, Kas Brasil and Suzano.
