CEBRI participated in the 19th edition of the Dubrovnik Forum, held on June 26 and 27, in Croatia. Under the theme "The Age of Multipolarity," the event brought together government officials, representatives of international organizations, and think tanks to discuss the impacts of the reconfiguration of the international order on global governance, security, and economic development.

Organized annually by the Croatian government, the Forum welcomed heads of state, foreign ministers, and representatives from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the United Nations (UN), the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), as well as research centers from Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Discussions focused on the challenges posed by growing strategic competition between the United States and China, the impact of ongoing international conflicts, and the need to strengthen multilateralism amid a landscape of geopolitical fragmentation. Debates on energy security, European technological autonomy, and artificial intelligence also stood out, with an emphasis on developing governance mechanisms to reduce inequalities and ensure greater transparency in the adoption of these technologies.

CEBRI participated in the panel "Emerging Powers in a Multipolar World: Many Paths, One Destination," alongside representatives from the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), the Real Instituto Elcano, the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), the Hudson Institute, and the MIT Center for International Studies.

Represented by Manoel Corrêa do Lago, Member of the Academic Advisory Board, CEBRI reaffirmed Brazil's commitment to multilateralism, a historic hallmark of its foreign policy, and argued that consolidating a more balanced international order requires strengthening different centers of development. In this context, he highlighted the strategic potential of Latin America and the importance of diversifying Brazil's international partnerships, noting progress in negotiations between Mercosur and the European Union.

CEBRI's participation in the Forum also strengthened its dialogue with international organizations and leading think tanks, expanding opportunities for cooperation on global governance, international politics, and sustainable development.
