CEBRI promotes meeting with Supreme Court Justice Flávio Dino

On Tuesday, February 13, the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) convened a meeting with Flávio Dino, Justice of the Federal Supreme Court (STF). The gathering brought together Trustees, Senior Fellows, and representatives from the public and private sectors to discuss current governability in Brazil, the role of the Supreme Court in today’s institutional landscape, and the structural elements shaping the country’s political moment.

The discussion was led by José Pio Borges, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at CEBRI, Joaquim Falcão, Trustee at CEBRI, and Julia Dias Leite, CEO at CEBRI.

Participants included several CEBRI Trustees and Fellows, such as Pedro Malan, Trustee Emeritus at CEBRI; Raul Jungmann, Trustee at CEBRI; Ambassador José Alfredo Graça Lima, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees at CEBRI; Ilona Szabó, Trustee at CEBRI, Co-Founder and President of the Igarapé Institute; Armínio Fraga, Trustee at CEBRI; Armando Mariante, Trustee at CEBRI; and Ambassador Antonio Souza e Silva, Member of CEBRI’s International Advisory Board for Institutional and Governmental Relations.

Representatives from CEBRI’s member companies and partner institutions, including the City of Rio de Janeiro, the State Government of Goiás, Equinor, Vale, Engie, TotalEnergies, Petrobras, and Pinheiro Neto Advogados, were also in attendance.

The initiative is part of CEBRI’s ongoing efforts to foster qualified and diverse dialogue among strategic actors, contributing to the development of relevant agendas for Brazil in international relations.
