CEBRI participated in the 29th Conference of the Parties, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, leading essential discussions on critical minerals, pathways to a just transition, climate financing mechanisms, and sustainable practices towards a resilient and responsible global economy.
On November 16, Teresa Rossi, Deputy Director of Partnerships and International Cooperation at CEBRI, took part in the Global Think Tanks Forum at the round table "Global Green Economy: Financing, Innovation, and Climate Action," organized by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), ADB Institute (ADBI), Asian Development Bank, and CAREC Institute. This forum fostered discussions on potential pathways for global sustainability, covering themes such as mitigation, adaptation, and energy transition.
Promoting interactive dialogue among decision-makers, researchers, and practitioners, the event raised discussions on emissions reduction, climate adaptation, and energy transitions as interconnected pathways to a resilient future. During the panel, different perspectives on policies, technologies, and regional initiatives that balance environmental sustainability and economic growth were presented. The role of green financing in strengthening global climate resilience was also explored, analyzing how the financial sector, including public and private investors, can align capital with sustainability goals.
